Our cabins are located in the old mining community of Platoro—high in the San Juan Mountains—surrounded by some of the best that Mother Nature has to offer. Next to the Rio Grand National Forest and San Juan Wilderness area, our cabins give you easy access to: Fishing for rainbow, brown, and cutthroat trout in nearby CONEJOS RIVER, PLATORO RESERVOIR & MIX LAKE, and high mountain streams, as well as hiking trails, jeep trails, hunting, or just viewing the plentiful deer, elk, and other wildlife in the area. Or maybe you want to enjoy the high country wildflowers, the aspens’ gorgeous fall color, or great photo opportunities!

We offer clean, comfortable cabins along with a dose of good old-fashioned hospitality. Our lodge has a small store area with a limited stock of supplies and fishing tackle. The lodge also has a “gathering area” for guest use if they like. We have a free breakfast bar in the lodge open to our guests until 10 AM.

We have 12 fully furnished housekeeping cabins with linens, bedding, etc. provided. Cabins with kitchenettes have necessary appliances, dishes, pans, etc. and also include microwaves and electric coffeepots. Charcoal grills are provided for the cabins and a central fire-pit is available also.

Prices shown are for one or two people per night.
Add $10.00 per night per additional person if more than two; a maximum of 8 allowed per cabin.
Prices are subject to change without notice.

4.8% Sales and Lodging tax will be added to total cabin charges. Tax- exempt organizations must submit written proof of their status upon arrival.

We accept VISA, MasterCard, and Discover cards.

Duplex units with 2-night minimum:
1 Room Cabin with kitchenette	Sleeps 2 to 4	$75.00
2 Room Cabin with kitchenette	Sleeps 4 to 7	$85.00
Duplex units available for 1 or more nights:
1 Room Cabin (has tub w/separate bath room / no shower)	Sleeps 2 to 4	$60.00
1 Room Cabin with free-standing fireplace (has shower in bathroom)		$70.00
2 Room "Suite" Cabin Combined adjoining 1 room cabins listed above (1 with tub; 1 with free standing fireplace, shower)	Sleeps 6 to 8 (Additional $10 per each person over 4)	$100.00
1 Room Modular Cabin	Sleeps 2 (3 with prior arrangement)	$55.00

A pay phone is available at the lodge.

Reservations Policy:

v 60 days in advance are recommended

v A minimum of two nights deposit is required within 10 days. (One night deposit for one or two nights)

v The balance is due upon arrival. We are not responsible for inclement weather conditions.

v A $25 fee is charged for each returned check.

Cancellations:

v Deposit refunds only with 60 days prior notification.

v A $10 per night service charge for cancellations prior to the deadline.

v No refunds on cancellations after the 60-day deadline.

v Reservations shortened after the deadline may have up to two nights deposit retained.

Check in/out:

v Check in after 3:00 P.M. Check out by 10:00 AM

Pets:

v A fee of $10 per night with prior notice.

v One house broken pet per cabin.

v Pets cannot be left unattended in the cabins at any time and must be on a leash when outdoors.
