What is Reiki?

Reiki is a traditional medical skill that was rediscovered in Japan over a hundred years ago.  Reiki, the Usui-system of natural healing can be described as follows:

• It is a technique of laying on hands, which allows both the therapist and the patient to experience the entity of being.

• It re-establishes natural harmony and balance in your body.

• It promotes the state of deep relaxation and so creates internal peace and well being.

• It has an effect on the physical, psychological, mental and spiritual level.

• It supplements other healing therapies (e.g. massage, homeopathy, acupuncture, psychotherapy, etc.) as well as traditional medical therapies.

• It is not a religion or a cult and has no dogma.  It is independent from any specific system of belief.

Hildegard Rozek-Lawrence

Reiki 2nd-Degree

Hildegard Rozek-Lawrence has an MA in Dance - Education, 2nd Degree Reiki, is a Meditation Teacher, or Relaxation and Life Motivation Teacher.  She also learned Therapeutic Touch.  Coming from Germany to the USA she founded the Wise Mountain Spirit Circle in Blanca, CO and created the outside Meditation Place.  She teaches meditation, contemplation, deep Breathing, relaxation and Movement Classes.  She does healing work through 'Laying on Hands' with Reiki and Therapeutic Touch knowledge with Healing Stones.

Also click on the Calendar of Events link on the left column, to view our currently offered workshops.  All Workshops are held in La Veta, Colorado.  They begin Fridays 6:00 p.m. and end Sundays at 1:00 p.m.  If you book for multiple Workshop attendance, some discounts are available, so please call for detailed information.
